I can see that haeman is sad and disappointed. He's probably mad also that Creon killed Antigone. The artist made the most important part of the picture brighter. Antigone and Haeman were bright silhouette and gold because that part of the picture was telling the story. The meaning of the picture is showing his feelings towards Antigone after she died. It's also showed his love towards her. I think this picture is important. I feel like it's good because it's showing someone emotion. Its also important because it shows how someone is hurt and how they feel about losing someone important. Its also sad but mostly important.
I can see the brightness on Haemon himself since he's still living and on Antigone, she has shade and is very pale because she is died. The artist made you look around because the background had a tone that was light and dark. Which made it have feelings on how the tragedy happened. The mood that Haemon is showing is that he is heartbroken for the lost love of his life. The artwork is powerful because it brings alot of emotions. The artwork is important because you wouldn't want losing someone important in your life. Its like lose your best friend and never seeing them again. The artwork is an imitation of the world.
I see red on the guards cape I see guards I Antigone , I see Antigone brother polyniecies ,the back ground is kinda dark but ,also show a clear sky ,the White on her dress brings all the attention and the black in the background makes the bright colors stick out .i think Antigone is feeling sad because her brother wasn't able to get a official burial ,and that she doesn't really care what happens after she bury him . I think the painting is a meaningful picture ,and that it took time and a lot of thoughts in it
Description-I see Harmon and Antigone. Antigone looks lifeless and Harmon is holding her. They look like there inside. There clothes have color.
Analysis-The way it's arranged is both are on the floor. The center attention should be on Harmon and Antigone. Harmon looks very sad and shock.
Interpretation-I think this picture means that because Antigone buried her brother, her punishment is death. Her husband found her body an hold her while crying about her death.
Judgement-This scene is significant to the story because Antigone died. Her fiancé, Harmon, is devastated and heartbroken about her death. Later in the scene Harmon kills himself. At that moment a chain of events happens. Eurydice, Creon's wife, kills herself because of her son's death.
In the painting Haeman is very sad & He's also upset Creon killed Antigone. The artist made very bright colors to support important parts of the picture. Antigone and Haeman had very colorful colors because the painter wanted to get your attention on the picture. Haeman is expressing his feelings towards Antigone when she died. Haeman had lots of love for Antigone. This picture is very important. I feel like it's good because it's showing True emotions. The painting has very deep emotions in it. It shows how much he cares for her & how much he loves her. In the painting it's showing you what it feel like to lose someone you truly love.
In picture B I see Antigone caught trying to bury her brother. The guards then take her away to Creon. The artist was trying to explain what took place the day Antigone went against Creon. In picture B the artist used the elements together by giving Antigone and her brother light colors (white). The viewers view goes directly to them showing they are important in the picture. The guards are in darker colors showing that they are not as important in the scene. Antigone is bummed because she shouldn't give her brother a proper burial. When I look at this picture I see sadness. I also feel like picture B does not lack emotion, but does have lack of personal expression.
I chose picture B. I see that the guards walking in on Antigone trying to bury her brother Polyniecies. I also see the Guards wearing bright read capes with a gold helmet and Antigone wearing a white dress. The background is dark but also brings out a light blue to represent that its an ocean in the background. Antigone and the guards attire brings out all the attention in this picture. I say that because its showing how they appeared to look when the situation occurred. I think the meaning of this historical picture is to show drama because as you can see the guards know that Antigone killed her brother and now Antigone is going to get punished for the crime that she has done. I Think this Picture is significant to the story. I say that because it shows a perfect example of what happened in this part of the story the story. It also shows that anybody can be your worst enemy even a love one. Its also important and memorable
I see guards taking Antigone by the arm as she was burying her deceased brother. I can see the anger in the faces of the guards’ and the shock and worry in Antigone’s face.
The artist use brighter colors on the people to make them stand out from the darker background. The robes of the guards seem to have a soft texture.
The picture shows how the scene of Antigone being captured by the guards would look like. The artist chose this to show how Roman art was painted and to give people a vivid picture of Antigone.
This artwork has high value since it is made creatively and fits the ancient story of Antigone. Others can benefit from this work to understand the emotion in the scene of the story. The picture shows its worth in doing its job to exhibit the scene of Antigone
Picture A I Guess
1. so this what i see 2 men and a women ,the men which ig is creon is sitting in his throne he seems mad and the women(antigone) looks sad and scared .
2.I Believe the painter uses the color of the painting to describe the mood which in this case is a sad and angry type of mood he uses bright colors in antigone to demostrate she is victim and uses dark and glommy colors to describe the badness of creon and the guard i am guessing .
3.i think it means a bad day for antigone and the creo is mad also the guards looks happy for turning her in and finding her creon looks mad but suprise that he found who disobey his laws and restrictions.
4 i think its a bad thing they found her because antigone did nothing wrong all she did was bury her brother which was dead on the ground i think its dumb or incorrect to leave ypur oen blood there laying down dead she was doing the right thing but creon didnt see it that way and decide to kill her due to the choice she made i believe that sometimes u do the right thing but end up having bad consequences.
In this picture you can see Haeman, Antigone's husband, hold her in his arms. It looks as if Antigone is dead. Haeman looks really hurt, so much that the artist made it look like he was screaming or something. Antigone was killed for disobeying Creon. She burried her brother polynices knowing that it was against Creon's word. That's why she is laying in her husbands arms dead. You can see how the artist made the picture kind of dark. That represents that something bad has happened. Other than the fact that someone looks dead that's one way to realize what's going on in the photo. You can also see the emotion the author tried to bring out of Harman. Sad, while his wife was dying in his arms.
Picture A :
You see creon yelling or mad at antigone . The guard is holding her also . The artist used the fire in the background to balance out creons anger . He also balanced the picture with the colors of their clothes. It represents how creon feels about antigone . It also represents how the talk went down when the guard captured antigone . It is important because it shows you how creon talked to antigone. Its not a good situation cause creon looks mad at antigone. It describes the situation well . You can tell that creon is mad by the way the guard is holding her . Also the way creon is looking at her
In picture B you can see that Antigone got caught for her crimes. Also they're are many details like the guards abs it shows how strong and power they are
The painting works together by telling you how she was struggling to bury her brother. Also it shows how much force the gaurds are having to use to get Antigone away from the grave.
The mood that is set by this painting is frustration and antiogine looks frieghtened for her life because the gaurds have finally caught the person who was going against creon.
Yes this painting is very significant to the antiogone story because it lets readers know how hard antiogond wanted to stay true to her family and do what she believed was right. Also this is significant because it shows you one of the many ways this scene could have been inturprered
1. Description: in this picture I can see that there are very dull and dark colors, but there's few spots on the chest and skin that is kind of light so those are the parts that are look at the most. Also the clothing that they are wearing is very bright and there's a lot of red.
2. Analysis: this picture is arranged with the people like the guards and Antigone are angry.
3.interpretation: this picture is showing that Antigone is trying to burry her brother but the guards and creon was trying to pull her for doing that.
4. Judgement: the significants about it is that the clothing/cap are red and they stand out the most.
1. I see Haemon holding Antigone in his arms. Haemon looks like he is in pain.
2. Haemon and Antigone are in the center with bright colors to draw attention. Background has somewhat dark color that ties in with Haemon`s pain.
3.It means that Antigone has died. Also shows that Haemon is in deep pain from her death.
4. Yes it is significant. It is significant because Antigone has died. Haemon shows that he his in pain for the death of Antigone. That is a huge impact to the story.
Description: I see Haemon holding lifeless Antigone. I see that he is upset and sad about him finding her dead. The picture has color online, however, on the paper everything is black, grey, and white.
Analysis: The picture is arranged with Harmon and Antigone at center attention. The author wanted them to be the first thing that you seen in the picture. The picture is also arranged to seem sad and or heartbreaking.
Interpretation: This picture meant Antigone's death for burying Creon's brother. Haemon found his lover dead and began to cry and grief.
Judgement: This picture is significant because this is when Antigone died. Many devastating events happen after her death. Haemon, her fiancé, then killed himself because of her death. And later on in the story Eurydice, Creon's wife kills her self because of her son Haemon's death.
I see very bright exposure level on the right side of the picture. I see bright red and gold colors on the armor. I see bright sky's in the background. There's also very dark dim room.
There's darker figures on the borders of the image. A large concentrate of bright white lights in the middle. There's a lot of open space on the top right of the painting. The artist main focus is the guard gripping Antigone and her facial expression.
The dark shadows over the soldiers looks like it means that they are an evil entity. The brightness in the middle means two things. The first means that Antigone a good person. The second meaning of the bright colors means no sign of life.
It's a very good art peace to the story. Does artwork represents many things such as the death of Antigone's brother. There's also represents the fear the guards have towards the king. It also shows the deep in grief and fear that Antigone has toward the death of her brother and her worries of leaving him without having a proper burial.
In this picture, I see a man(Haemon) who looks really upset. I also see a woan(Antigone) who looks unconscious or dead. There is a mix of dark and light colors in this painting. The outfits that Harmon and Antigone are wearing are bright, but their moods are the complete opposite. This painting is showing the death of Antigone. In this painting, Haemon looks devastated. This painting is very significant. This painting is very significant because we are still talking about it today. Another reason why this painting is significant is because of the emotions that are displayed. I think this painting touched a lot of people.
Image C: Antigone's Death
I see that Haemon is sad . He's also mad that Creon killed Antigone. The artist made the least important part of the picture lighter and the most important part brighter. Antigone is bright because that part of the picture was the most important . The meaning of the picture is showing Haemons emotions towards Antigone after she died and you can tell he really loves her. I feel like it's great because it's showing someone and how they care for another person. Its mainly sad but very important.
I think the first thing I noticed was the bright colors . There are no dark shade colors but the darker shade in this case it would be the brown. It seems like The guy in the picture is upset and screaming and also the girl is dead in the picture . I guess this means that they have a close relationship with one another . I guess this is significant because the woman who died was someone that man cared about and it affected him .
1. Description: In the picture, I see a guy hold a girl for someone. The first guy, holding the girl back, has weapons with darker clothing. The girl looks mad at the guy who's sitting down. She is being held back and she had lighter clothes. The second guy, sitting down, also looks mad at the girl. He has lighter clothes than the first guy but darker then the girl. It looks like the second guy is punishing the girl.
2. Analysis: The girl has lighter clothes than everyone because she's the main character. The second guy had the second lightest clothing because he's important in the story but not as important as the girl. The first guy isn't relevent to this scene so he ha darker clothing on.
3. Interpretation: The first guy must be the guard because he's holding the weapons. The second guy looks like the king, in this case Creon. Lastly the girl is Antigone.
4. Judgment: In this scene the guard takes Antigone to Creon so he can redeem himself. Creon punishes Antigone. Antigone is being punished because she buried her brother against Creon's rules. Creon looks very angry at Antigone.
In picture A I see there are two men and a female. One male looks like a gaurd and he is holding the female in place while she is being punished by the other male that looks like the king. The colors the artists used were light color for the people clothing. Also the colors in the background make it seem like they were some place dark but with an opening up top of the yellow. I believe the artwork has value because of the clothing they're wearing. It seem as if it's from ancient history. Tell me hourly don't think it has a major effect.
In picture A , i can see that the clothes are the brightest , the lines around the clothes are bold and the shapes are in detail, and they paintings take up the whole portrait . I recognize that it looks like she's being punished , it looks like it was painted 1000 years ago , the painting used primary colors like red and blue and white . The first thing i notice about the painting is that a female is being punished by someone with a higher power. I think this painting means that you should obey your ruler and you wont be punished and thats what it represents . The painting is significant because its old , and from ancient rome . its definitely important.
D: it looks likes a big temple. There are a lot of people here
A: The place where there is the least light are on the people. They are darker then the background. The texture of the picture makes the palace look old. It looks as it it was made 100 years ago.
I: This is significant in the renaissance because it displays how the world was . The feelings i have toward this is that it is a nice peace of art.
J: Yes i do think the art has a benefit for others . It can create more people to like art more
D -The first picture is very colorful. The name of the artwork is The School Of Athens by Raphael .
A- I notice that there is light reflected on the statues so I guess that's the sunlight . And the artist used medium colors for what the people in the painting are wearing . The artist uses straight lines to make the architect. The sculptures made in the picture look like they have a rough feeling .
I - I think that this is a important piece because it look like it's a big thing going on . I don't really know how to feel about this Artwork
J - This is a very beautiful piece . And if must be expensive especially during those times .
D - I notice there is blue people in the pictures . I'm guessing that they represent African Americans .
A- I notice that there is a white light at the top of the picture so I figure that it's daytime . The artist uses circular lines to make the heads of the people and straight lines to make the body . The artwork looks really smooth . And I notice there is a bit of darkness within the picture to the right .
I - It looks like they are going to sleep . But why would they be going to sleep during the day ?
J - I'm not sure if it is , but this looks like this picture was made during slavery . This picture looks like it will have a big affect on people to those who have ancestors who have gone through slavery .
