Pt.2 In a Streetcar Named Desire, Blanche is on her own journey of acceptance. Reason is because she is a woman and women at the time had little to no power in the social class. Some challenges she faces are her brother-in-law,Stanley, Mitch, who she likes, and she has problems with her own self since she is mentally unstable. The real reason Blanche is searching for acceptance is because she is very insecure about herself and has to rely on her looks to gain attention/acceptance from men as we see with Mitch. She never comes out to the light, but would rather stay in the dark because if Mitch found out who she truly was, he wouldn't accept her.

I would also include that a huge struggle was her mental health. This impacted her relationship with Mitch and Stella.

I agree that a constant struggle Blanche has was her appearance and the way she depended on people to tell her she was perfect.

Part 1) In the book The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian, the quester in the book is Arnold (Junior). The place that he goes to is a school in an all white town. The reason that Arnold goes to that school is because Mr. P, his teacher, advised him to move out of the reservations because there is no hope for him there. Some of the challenges that Arnold face was when he returned to the reservations, he was being ignored by the other Indians and his best friend, Rowdy, because they felt betrayed that Arnold went to an all white neighborhood instead of staying in the reservations. Also, he was jumped by three boys in masks while trying to raise money for the homeless. The real reason Arnold went there is because he was trying to have a better life outside of the reservations and get away from the toxic things in Wellpinit, so he can have a successful future.

A) In to kill a mockingbird Scout has a combative streak and a basic faith in the goodness of the people in her community. As the novel progresses, this faith is tested by the hatred and prejudice that emerge during Tom Robinson’s trial. Scout eventually develops a more grown-up perspective that enables her to appreciate human goodness without ignoring human evil.

In the goonies, the main character name Mikey and his friends go on a quest to find a legendary pirate long lost treasure. they follow the map into an under ground cave and along the way attract the attention of three criminals. The "goonies" face many dangerous obstacles;the three criminals who chase them, the unstable terrain of the land and the booby-traps set by the pirate one eyed willie in order to protect his treasure for being stolen. In the start of the film, Mikey is weak and and untested which is portrayed by the use of his inhaler. However, when Mikey comes out of the cave he is completely different. He's not a little boy anymore, he obtained more courage and isn't weak anymore. This is demonstrated when he throws his inhaler away basically discards it proving to the audience he has more strength now.

During this visit Blanche deals with her own issues, such as alcoholism, and discovers the condition of Stella's life with her husband Stanley. Eventually, everyone finds out that Blanche didn't come for a simple visit, but rather she had lost ownership of her childhood home and needed a place to stay. She was also looking for a man to potentially solve her problems. This ideology and her alcoholism both derived from her poor mental health.
